Vetona low table

Designed by Rubén Mateos Brea, Vetona is a height-adjustable side table whose technical precision is backed by a story of craftsmanship and memory. The vice, taken from the imagery of the carpenter’s workshop, is the structural and symbolic axis of the design.

This detail acts as a crank that drives the gas-assisted lifting mechanism and allows the height to be adjusted from 50 to 72 cm. This makes the table suitable for different uses: as a temporary work surface, a reading stand or a side table beside seating. It is a timeless side table designed for new ways of working, meeting and living in dynamic workspaces.

The structure combines raw-finish parts and lacquered surfaces in a choice of colours; Verde Martelé has been added as a new option, emphasising the table’s industrial character. The round or rectangular top is made of finger-jointed solid oak in different finishes and balances technical precision with the warmth of the material.
